Pumpaloons Game

Pumpaloons

Looking for a game that’s lots of silly fun for preschoolers? Pumpaloons from Drumond Park ticks all the boxes on the good clean fun front. It’s inflatable action at its finest and has certainly earned its place on the 2010 Toy Wish List. The Toy Retailers Association gave this game a place on its list of the year’s 12 best toys and it’s easy to see why.

Playing the Pumpaloons game is simple and will have both players rolling around laughing in no time at all. It’s a nail-biting race against time to inflate two 3-foot Pumpaloons and get them to stand up independently with no squishy bits and no toppling. When one of the figures is all pumped up it will let out a little squeak and the winner gets to enjoy a well-earned victory dance.

Inside the box you’ll find everything needed to fill these wobbly figures with air. Two pumps are included, along with two Pumpaloons – Stripeyloon and Spottyloon. Their bases are filled with sand so they don’t simply roll away whilst you’re trying to inflate them. Select your favourite, put your foot to the pump and the race is on.

The fun really starts when you start to run out of puff. It’s no walk in the park! The hilarity of Pumpaloons comes courtesy of the different ways you can work the pump. Plunge it with both hands, stomp on it with both feet, kneel on it or bounce on it. Anything goes when it comes to getting those loons to stop wobbling and stand up straight.

A purely physical game that can be played inside or out, this toy gets kids jumping around and having competitive fun in a good old-fashioned way. Naptime will not be a problem after a few rounds of this energetic game.

Suitable for children aged 4 and up, the Pumpaloons retails for around £19.99
