Barbie Puppy Swim School

Barbie Puppy Swimming School

Looking for a little something for a Barbie fan but don’t just want to buy a simple doll? Try one of the new playsets out for size. The Barbie Puppy Swim School With Pool will keep fans of Mattel’s most popular little lady occupied for hours.

If you’re picturing a small, shallow plastic pool no bigger than a postage stamp you’re in for a pleasant surprise. The Barbie Puppy Swim School Pool measures 32cm x 33cm x 6cm (HxWxL) and has more features than you might expect. The pool is in the shape of a bath and actually has some depth to it, so Barbie and her dog Tanner can actually teach the puppies to swim in more than a thimbleful of water. Tanner does so via a magnetic connection in her nose that allows her to push the puppies from one end of the pool to the other. Wind up her tail and watch her swim off to her little ones.

When the puppies have mastered the basics of swimming, it’s off to the diving board to watch them plunge into the deep end, a trick they can perform by themselves. When it’s time for play, Barbie, Tanner, and the puppies can shoot some hoops with the basketball, or relax and float around in the rubber ring. When it’s time to dry off, push the lever in Barbie’s back and she’ll towel the dogs dry – or give them a gentle push back into the pool.

Everything you need to get started is included in the set. It comes with Barbie in a 2-piece pink swimsuit and matching sunglasses, a towel, a Tanner swimming dog, 2 puppies, the pool itself, rubber ring, basketball, and hoop.

Suitable for children aged 3 and up, the Barbie Puppy Swim School retails for around £21.99.
